Blend of sales & costs and bank feed options
All our sole traders have cash transactions along side the bank transactions. A lot of the time they lack real paperwork so we need the bank feed option but we also need to have the ability to add in cash sales and costs, a blend of the two options you currently have. I can't think of a small trader that does not have cash along side their bank transactions so I imagine HMRC would be very keen for this fucntion as well as a pure bank feed is not sufficient.

iPad Native App for Dext
Please redesign the app to function natively with iPad - I spend a lot of time in Dext and it seems silly that I can only use the iOS app in iPhone mode / display (unable to use over half of the screen in landscape mode)

Set default tax rate for Sales items - Xero integration
I want to set a default tax rate for all sales invoices. Client charges 20% but it does not appear on invoice and it is taking lots of time to change each individual invoice manually. The issue with using Customer rules is that each invoice is to a new customer.

Change the PDF view of Expense Reports
The various accounts/categories are listed as columns on the right hand side. As there are more and more lines this will make the report harder to read. Can you have one column with the heading "account or category" and all the accounts listed below it? Also the columns listed as "project" & "project 2" should be classes and locations. Can this be fixed as well?

- Categories are now summarised at the top so that the font doesn't get smaller when there are more categories
- The font is darker and easier to read
We are also working on this ability to choose the order of items in the expense report, as we know not having this is a frustration at the moment.

Automatically expand notes box as more information is entered
'Note' text box should automatically expand downwards if the contents go beyond the default 2 lines.
Currently, if you type more than 2 lines, you can only view the information below if you manually expand the text box, or scroll down.
Often it is not clear if there is more information below the 2 first lines, especially if listing things on separate lines.1 vote -

Publish a sale to a bank account in Sage 50 Desktop
It would be extremely helpful to be able to publish a Sales invoice to a bank account. Most customers have paid for the service and it goes directly into a bank account. The drop down list is there in Dext but no bank accounts show up in it.

Quickbooks Desktop csv export - Canadian
Could you please add a CSV export (COST section) for Quickbooks Desktop that is specifically Canadian (right now there is only US) and we lose too much time in changing everything
1 voteIt is possible to integrate with Quickbooks Desktop through the Dext Connect application. Please go to the 'Connections' and 'Integrations' section of the client that you'd like to integrate and follow the instructions there.

QBD Hydra- sync Classes/ Locations
Sync QBD Classes and Locations into Dext

Backup Status on a dashboard
Without digging into multiple layers, we should be quickly able to view the status of each client's back up .. is it on? to where? When was the last back up done?

Send a copy of the item uploaded from the Mobile App
When I do my expenses I send a copy of the receipt to Dext but also take a photo and store on my company's server. This is pretty much a backup but it is useful to share with my accountant if needed. I thought rather than taking the picture twice, Dext could simply also upload the file to my server or email me.

Change layout of ER to have the category field shortened when downloading in PDF
Partner would like the ability to change the layout of the PDF export for Expense reports.
They have many categories which appear on a separate column. When the categories are too long, the column is wider so the full name can be seen making all the other information small. They want to be able to shorten this or somehow change the way the categories on the PDF export appear so that it does not make the other information hard to read.

We recently updated the the expense report PDF format so that it's easier to read. The categories are not summarised at the top instead, so you won't have loads of columns anymore.
