Xero - Sales Invoices - Reference field
When a sales invoice is published to Xero, the item ID appears under the Reference field in Xero. Some customers don't want the item ID to be transferred to the Reference field in Xero as they would like to use that field for something else.

On Sales invoices, we would like to have a reference box linked to Xero's reference both where we could add details such as the PO or any other extra information needed. currently we first need to publish the invoice and then edit the reference in Xero which is time consuming.

When we upload and enter sales invoice details via Dext, the invoice Reference field in Xero always pulls through the scan ref. ID from Dext. I would like this to reflect the invoice number instead. Is this possible?
