Send/Tag users on a document (Improve Item Messaging)
The ability to communicate with any user on a document. Right now you can only send a message (that usually is missed) to the submitter. It would be nice to have the ability to tag other users using the “@“ function. As an accountant my staff could tag me with a question on it as well. Bill.com has this function when leaving a note.

ability to use @mentions on messages to direct messages to specific users. we have scanned items from a user who is not the person who did the purchase or sale.

Id like to suggest a feature to improve the user experience on Dext. Adding push notifications for the Instant Messaging feature on the web would help users stay up-to-date with their messages and respond to them promptly. At the moment its just a little red dot up the top right hand side that indicates a response has been received to a client receipt query. A better notification system would be beneficial here! -

Item messaging should function just like the Note does in Bill.com. You can tag any user using the "@". The user will get a email notification instantly.

option for all the users to receive messages, not only documents uploader.

Messages sent from the Item Messaging should be received by all the users in the client account, not only the Document owner.
