This really needs to be looked at, the work arounds at the moment do not work for Clients needing to invoice, quote and report using Xero Projects. Sending these as Draft Bills and then allocating to Projects really defeats the purpose of Dext automating bills

Such a needed function to simplify the upload and allow our projects to be populated easily. Beyond our subscription We may try and cut out Dext use and work only in Xero if the interface is not updated

Where the project module is requested in Xero and Dext does not recognise same, then it is not full integration with Xero, it is partial only. I find, with this partial integration that I am faced with the labrious task of publishing an invoice from Dext and then, having to find the invoice in Xero and assign it to the relevant project. This integration is vital for the many Xero customers using projects.

Tracking does not offer the same as Xero projects and tracking does not work in the way we require. We allocate costs to clients who have segregated budgets for each event. Xero projects enables us to segrate the cost and then rebill the client.

The Xero customer allocation works perfectly in dext and we use this for rebilling clients for out of pocket expenses. We also need the option of Xero project allocation. Right now all employees can do is note the project in the description, we have 20+ employees providing project details. Imagine the time we would save if the employees could find the project right in dext. I believe this would bring you in additional clients.
