    Same problem. I requested the ability to have the supplier name be assigned as a field so it would rename the supplier to the required name to avoid creating duplicate in QBO. I end up merging the suppliers in QBO. Having multiple similar suppliers will catch the scanned names where there are slight differences. EG, the receipt might read The Beer Store, but the supplier in the software is Beer Store.

    I have the same problem in Canada for meals. Sometimes, the tax amount is out by a cent making it impossible to use the line splits. I end up moving the transaction into QBO and then doing the split there.
