Hello Tara and thank you for taking the time to provide us with this valuable feedback!

Regarding the back button issue, would you be able to record a short video demonstrating how it happens and share that with us? This functionality shouldn't be affected and we suspect there's something else at play here.

To address your concerns regarding the new search functionality, let me first share a bit of context.

The new document content search has replaced the old supplier- or customer-name-only search, allowing you to now find documents by any word in the item's description, note, supplier or customer name, and, most importantly, the document file itself. It's arguably much more flexible than before. That being said, it does require you to enter a whole word (or a sequence of words) to get a match. We're aware that for some suppliers, remembering and typing a whole exact word (not necessarily the entire supplier name, but still a whole word) is inconvenient and/or slower. To remedy this, specifically for suppliers and customers, the new search will also honour a prefix of a word. For example, searching for either "Enbridge" or "Enb" should have returned the invoices you were after. The only thing that wouldn't work as before is searching for a suffix or a middle part of the word, as you initially did, i.e. "bridge" wouldn't match the "Enbridge" supplier. This is a necessary change to be able to support the new content search functionality in a performant and scalable way.

To compensate for this behaviour change, we've also added a new "Supplier" or "Customer" name filter in the filters dropdown that allows you to type in any part of the supplier name, as before, and pick the supplier or customer you want to see documents for. Moreover, this dropdown shows you supplier or customer name suggestions as you type, in real-time, allowing you to pick and choose more quickly.

With this in mind, could you please let us know how these new search and filter features would fare in your workflow?

Thanks again for taking the time to feed this back to us!
