Support Credit Notes for Sales Invoices
The type field is greyed out default to "invoice", unable to select "credit".
I need the option to publish as either invoice or a credit note rather than inputting manually in accounting software.

Hello,
Good news, sales credit notes are now supported in Dext Prepare for Xero and QuickBooks Online.
You can publish a sales credit note by choosing ‘Type > Sales Credit Note’ on the item detail page.

Would be great if I can publish sales credit note as a refund to Xero.

When we process items, we select type as "credit note" , if the total amount is a negative number.
Credit notes can be published only to "Credit note" in QBO. It makes sense to also change the 'publish to' field to "Credit note", instead of leaving "Bill" as default.
