Id like to see a 'Quantity' box on the front screen. Even if the data isnt read from the invoice it would be nice to have the ability to manually put it in.
I know its there is a spot if you click into he line items but it would be nice to have it on the main page for speed. ie for fuel litres especially as this then goes into a BAS.

for creating line items the screen is not user friendly. Needs major optimization for multiple line creation screen.

The section devoted to the splits is very small – just under half the screen – and I’ve found no way to enlarge it. So when I get to the dropdowns for Class, all that’s visible is the search box and part of the top line of the first answer. It is possible, but it is horrible to use! If there is a way of just giving everything a bit more space I would be very, very glad to hear of it

For a mobile bookkeeper it would be good to have a more condensed and easier to use screen layout when using line item extraction on a smaller device. Partner uses a Surface Pro when she is out visiting clients and finds the Line Item Extraction tool very hard to use on a smaller laptop as the windows are very small and don't appear in full on the display so she has to scroll alot. It would be good if there were display options or maybe a zoom tool within the software for working on the go.

the screen when you need to breakdown an invoice is not fit for the purpose

The layout when splitting items within a bill... the layout is awful.
The invoice appears in full pane and the the split menu is located at the bottom and only allows you to view 3 lines without scrolling.
They should keep the invoice to the left and keep the split menu to the right. (basically the same layout if you were to not split the invoice).

That you have to click inside each box before you can start typing - super annoying. Creating line items with different taxes codes is a long prosses compared to what it is like in Quick Books. I wish that when creating separate line items it wouldn't open a new section. there should be that choice already.

Drop down box disappears (falls below screen, cant scroll) when creating line items

The screen for create line items is tiny, so splitting the line items into 10 lines and then trying to select a category and customer is difficult as Dext only shows 2 lines at a time and when going to select a customer from a list of 50, it is near impossible to try and select one by the time you get to say line 9 or 10. Is there a way to make this screen bigger? Maybe an option to minimise/reduce the size of the invoice and only see the create line items section?
