Disable editing of an approved Expense Report
Hi there,
We recently released an improved way to approve expense claims where expense claims cannot be edited once approved. Head to the Approvals section of settings to create a new approvals workflow.
Read more about it here: https://help.dext.com/en/s/article/expense-claims-approvals
Enjoy!

I don't understand the point of taking the ability to edit expense reports away from administrators. Expense reports are frequently created and approved by non-accountants with things (particularly taxes) coded incorrectly. Please address.

I'm glad to hear of a fix for this, however, based on your description I cannot see how to implement a "lock" on approved reports. Is there a more detailed tutorial on this?

Have the option to "lock" and Expense Report so others cannot add items to it

The ability to lock receipts and/or expense claim items once they've been submitted into an expense claim for review and approval. And only allowing administrators to make changes to submitted receipts in expense claims. We've been having control issues with people changing and deleting expense claims that have been approved, which really affects our audit trail and matching the expenses into our accounting software

Option to lock approved expense reports so that users will not be able to add item to it once it has been approved
