An ability to draw, write or black out words on the images uploaded to Dext
We want to be able to black out some words on the images of the receipts. Or write notes on top of the image.

Hi,
This is probably a bit of a pipe dream but......
It would be awesome if we were able to type new information directly on the invoice or receipt straight from Dext.
IE: If an employee got a PO wrong when they picked something up from a supplier, the supplier automatically emails the receipt to Dext. When the bookkeeper opens the receipt in Dext they see the PO is wrong, so they have to download it, mark it up with the correct PO, and upload again so the source document has the correct PO on it.
It would be super cool if we could do that without having to do the downloading and uploading part. It's a long shot for sure, but maybe if Dextention integrated with something like Adobe it could be possible. Just a thought.
Thanks!

We would typically use this to save notes to the document, which would be platform agnostic, and viewable where ever the PDF is captured. E.g. an invoice received late by a supplier, after month end, may be annotated to say this and use that as reason to process on received date rather than invoice date.
We would also use this to annotate a receipt where only part of it is being claimed, such as redacting a personal expense to make this clearer.

Sometimes invoices come in with an incorrect job name, if this is the case, I would like to make a note on the actual invoice so that someone looking later can see why it was assigned to a different job than the one listed on the invoice.

Agreed. Two IOS sdks to implement – ‘scan document’ to auto detect borders, etc. and ‘markup’
