Edit expense claims after approval
Need the ability to edit expense claims after they have been approved. There are times when publishing fails due to the details listed on the expense claim (e.g. date is for a period that is locked, or claim supplier name is rejected). The only way to correct is by rejecting, changing, resubmitting for approval, & approving. This causes the approver to get approval notification again, which is not ideal.

As a finance member of staff I find that staff submitting expenses do not code their expenses or set the VAT amount correctly. I have the authorisation to approve expenses, so I should be able to easily correct these details. It is a time consuming fix this after expenses have been submitted. This should be easier and makes expense claims an inefficient process.

I would add that not just expense reports, but general expenses as well. We should be ablet to edit the class or category of an expense or expense claim without having to get an expense reapproved. Often the business aprpoves the expense first, but misscodes it. Accountants then come in and make sure it's properly coded (categorized and classifeid), and it's a nuisance to cancel approval, edit, re-requets approval, and publish. Thanks!

Agreed. Finance staff should be able to edit GL codes, Classes, taxes, etc. after approval. It's fine to lock the approved amount for reimbursement if necessary, but coding is often incorrect when left to the employee and their approver.
