Have a toggle or action under Payment methods to stop the extraction and creation of new payment methods. i.e. employee reimbursement receipts with their card information, etc.
This way we don't have to consistently have to go under payment methods and remove unwanted card numbers, etc.
This way only the Company payment methods we linked to our accounts and accounting software stay and nothing else is added unless we add it manually if required.
The last software we used didn't create new payment methods from employee card numbers or card numbers that aren't our company accounts and this made choosing our payment methods so much easier and faster.
