To be able to download/export a list of existing suppliers that have been used in Dext into an excel/csv.

This idea was originally submitted in 2021 and it has not been developed yet? Five years? Perhaps I need to be looking for a more robust expense management software solution.....

SUPPLIER RULES TRANSFER FROM ONECOMPANY TO ANOTHER

I still cannot see a button to export suppliers list. Please can you add this feature to CRN: 8402462265

As a firm that is about to onboard more than 100 franchisees of a major national retail chain, we find that the supplier rules (terms and default GL account specifically) are going to be the same for all. We are stunned to find that a list of rules for suppliers or list of suppliers including rules is not something that can be exported from one and imported to the others and each will need to be set up individually. Please consider adding an "Export Rules"/"Import Rules" fucntionality or "Export Suppliers with Rule details"/"Import (of same)" functionality. We actively put all our clients on DEXT with QBO and Plooto as an app stack for more accurate record keeping and data management, but the set up is time consuming as one needs to navigate the supplier list (going in and out of each supplier to set the rules, and then being forced to return to list to do the next one). With over 179 supplier rules that are the same for these companies it's a full day to create them for ONE client, then multiply that by more than 100 clients with the same suppliers/rules

Can only import new suppliers into system with defaults. Would be good if we could export out the full supplier list, make mass changes to category defaults, etc when chart of account changes, etc and then reimport in and update all the settings for all the suppliers in the system. Very time consuming at the moment as you have to go into each supplier to make any changes.

If this is a no go, then you could expand your bulk edit function within suppliers to amend more field. Currently cant amend much with this fuunctionality.

How can i export the Dext supplier list to excel or csv?

Could we please have an option to EXPORT the supplier / customer lists so that changes can be made quickly?

Supplier rules:
Have a list of clients where we could see. column per column: client name, Category, tax code, currency . . . . so we could quickly see what suppliers are missing input fields. Lists could be sortable by column and with filter.

Yes! Also, as someone using Desktop integrations, I could disable and re-enable the integration when needed without losing all my supplier rules and having to set them all up again. This would be way less of a hassle if I could export them before disabling, and reimport to Dext after re-integrating.

I suggest to include the export to csv feature, we can export the suppliers list to csv so we can amend chart of accounts as needed manually and then we can import from csv using the feature we already have, we an apply the changes in this way to save time.

in simple words we need the export to csv feature so we can extract the suppliers list and send to our director of company for review so he can advise changes as needed.

It would be really useful for me to be able to export a list of all my suppliers, including details on rules like the default tax rate & category. This would allow me to easily review the rules as well as giving me a local backup of my suppliers list to use elsewhere in my systems.

It would then allow me to make changes within the CSV and upload it to bulk update the rules in Receipt Bank.

I would like to be able to download a list of all my suppliers in Receipt Bank along with any of their details (like supplier code).
