  1. If we need to enter an old date we can't just enter 01012024, we have to put in / which is frustrating as in QBO you can just enter the numbers so it's a habit already. Dext gives an error 'Use dd/mm/yy.' it would be useful to not have to add in the /

  2. It would be great and so much more productive if you could reduce the area around an invoice showing on the screen so we can see all of the invoice and not have to continually scroll for the invoice or the fields used. If you would like more details as I may not be clear please feel free to contact me.

  4. Please could you add additional fields for columns as per the below: I would like to add columns to the costs inbox and archive to display the following details: received into Dext date, published date and published by user name. It would also be useful to access a report showing the number of items submitted to Dext each day, the number published and the number of flagged items.

  6. Add a column on the colleagues tab to show employee certification status. This ensures practices would be able to track whether an employee has completed their certification, highlighting those that have not. This will enable practices to better chase staff to complete their certification.

    In addition, I would also suggest adding an export function for this list which includes the following: first name, last name, email address, linked to account, privilege level, location, status (i.e. certified or non-certified), date of certification obtained and expiry date.

  7. Allow the End User to determine whether a duplicate expense entry is correct or not. With the current set up, the End User is unable to get similar looking expenses into the system and it's quite frustrating needing to wait for the Admin to review and approve. First they must notify the Admin that they are having this issue, then the Admin needs to approve the duplicate item, at which point the End User needs to return to the app to complete the data entry. This process is extremely inefficient.

As an Accountant User working on my clients accounts I would like to be able to receive email notifications for my clients accounts so that when a document is submitted by any user in this client account Dext Prepare informs me. I would also be able to customise the email notifications I receive for my clients accounts for each client and select what type of emails I receive based on the client (document uploaded, document published, document rejected, etc.)

  10. To allow more than 11 Characters on the document reference number or invoice number field for QuickBooks Desktop Integrated Accounts. Currently, there's a limit of 11 characters (QuickBooks Desktop allows a max of 11 characters).

  11. Custom export settings. I would like to export all my receipt PDFs with individual names, dates, and dollar amounts ie. " 2023-05-11 McDonalds $25.00 " using the date it has gathered from scanning instead of having a default export name as "company - export date"

  19. The Advanced Search feature should show up on the search function as soon as you go into the supplier list, not once you go into the archive view for a specific supplier. It would be nice to search ALL entries for a particular date range either by all users or a particular user. You can do it once you go into a specific supplier archive view and just remove the supplier name at the top, put in the date range, and user name but it should be easier to find than that. I would like to be able to search…
