We have received a response from the Dext team stating that the HMRC submission feature for MTD-IT submissions is available only to clients who are set up as Business Admin users. This feature is not accessible to clients who are assigned Standard User roles.
As a practice, we have added our client as a Standard User. Changing their role to a Business Admin user could expose us to certain risks, such as the potential deletion of important data. Additionally, it would allow access to features like line extraction, supplier statement extraction, and other functionalities that incur additional charges to the practice. If the client uses these features, additional costs will be charged to us, which we are not currently recovering from the client.
Therefore, please could you enable HMRC submission access for a client who has been added as a Standard User?
