Supplier statement reconciliation
I have a case where the supplier statement line item dates are being extracted from the due date rather than the invoice date. As I had not initially noticed this I opted for Request documents ( which takes away the Report error option). Of course the relevant invocies are in fact present but dated differently form the dates extracted from the statement. Now I cannot adjust the line item dates to properly correct the reconciliation rather than just marking it reconciled . I suggest that the line item dates should be manually adjustable to avoid this sort of error.

Notification to submitter once Auto Expense has been generated
At the moment only approvers get notified once an expense claim has been submitted for approval. I think it'll be helpful for user whose claim it is to get notified as well once an Auto-Expense claim has been generated, so that they know they need to review it and submit it to the approver. Employees need reminders like this to avoid expense claims sitting in limbo.

When paperwork matching in Costs, after matching the invoice to QuickBooks it stays on the invoice as Archived vs moving to the next invoice
When paperwork matching in Costs it would be nice to have the invoice go directly to Archived and the next invoice pop up instead of staying on the archived invoice. This adds an extra step by requiring a click on Next in the upper right.

extending table customisation to the Draft section
In 'draft invoices' there is no table customisation as in Sales Inbox. Therefore if you have multiple draft invoices for the same customer you cannot differentiate between different jobs without manually viewing each invoices. Being able to add the notes column where I put job numbers or references, would make things much easier

Supplier sorting via country
Hi,
I’d like to add more connections/suppliers in Dext, but I’ve noticed there are a large number to scroll through manually. Many of these appear to be US-only companies (e.g. Walmart), which makes it harder to quickly find relevant options.
Is there a way to filter suppliers by UK-based companies? Even being able to prioritise companies that operate in the UK (including global companies like Google) would be really helpful.
Having this kind of filter would make it much easier to discover connections I might not be aware of, as well as suppliers I already have accounts with and could…

Ability to upgrade number of extractions rather than users and additional add ons
It would be advantageous to be able to add/upgrade additional extraction limits without having to increase the number of users or statement extraction limits. We have a large number of invoices coming in but don't have many users. Rather than having to increase everything it would help if we could upgrade what we need rather than all limits.

Categorise suppliers with Payment Method
It would be beneficial to categorise suppliers with method of payment (i.e. Direct Debit, BACs, Card, Cash, etc). This can then be a filter option in the Payments module, and allow for faster production of payment runs with a significant reduction in errors.

Downloadable Monthly Statements for Wallet in Dext Payments
For monthly management accounts and year-end accounts production, it would be handy to have the ability to extract monthly statements for the wallet account.

Syncing Analysis Accounts from Sage Accounting SA
Feature Request: Syncing Analysis Accounts from Sage Accounting SA
In the attached screenshot from AutoEntry, you can see that these analysis fields are fully visible and selectable. However, in Dext, it appears we are limited to just Suppliers, Customers, Categories, and Tax settings.
As we use these fields to track our overheads and asset management, not having them in Dext creates a manual bottleneck for us. Is there a way to enable the syncing of these tracking/analysis fields, or is this a feature currently in the pipeline for the South African integration?
I’d love to make the switch to Dext,…

Flag Button On The Top Right Of Invoices
Once you've opened an invoice, there's the option to go back and flag the invoice on the top left, and there's the option to navigate back and forth between invoices on the top right.
It would be nice to have another flag button on the top right next to the arrows so you dont have to keep going across the screen.

Edit/Override Missing Invoices From the Extracted Data of the Supplier Statement
Edit/Override Missing Invoices From the Extracted Data of the Supplier Statement
Please add the ability to manually edit supplier statement entries and override extracted fields such as type and total amount when data extraction is incorrect. When I upload a supplier statement, sometimes it would read an amount as a credit type. It would be nice to override this amount to an invoice type, so it can properly find the invoice associated with it.

Sending Document Back to Previous Approver
Currently, rejecting a document sends it back to the beginning of the process, however it would be nice if instead of sending it back to the originator when "questioning" an expense, you could send it back to any previous approver for that document as well. There are instances where I don't disagree with how the document is captured, but I have a question about the invoice for the first-level approver and no mechanism within Dext to send it back to that person and have them add Notes or Comments to clear up any confusion.

QBO, take into consideration the tax rate on the product and service, not only the default tax rate
Integration QBO.Default tax on costs is a combined one : GST/PSt QC .Secondary tax extraction toggle is ON. An item is marked as billable and product and service is assigned on it. The product and service has a tax rate assigned on it in QBO and it is GST.When we publish the item it appears with two taxes in QBO. That is expected behaviour because of the tax settings. The user, though, is expecting just the GST to be published as the product and service assigned has a GST only on it in QBO.
We are already advised to turn off…

Allocate Items to Auto Expense Claims by Item Date NOT Upload Date
Items uploaded are automatically allocated into Auto Expense Claims by the date they were uploaded, not the actual date/transaction date of the item/receipt. This causes items to be allocated into the wrong month and forces users to have to manually move them back.
ie. You upload a receipt dated 28/02/2026 on 02/03/2026, it is automatically put in the Auto Expense Report for March 2026 (Ending 31/03/2026) despite it being a February 2026 receipt. This makes no sense, as receipt are always reconcilled based on the transaction date on the bank statement. It is frustrating to always have to continually move…1 vote -
Add a feature that automatically notifies me when my manager receives my expense claim.
Please add a feature that automaticallynotifies me when my manager receives my submitted expense claim. For some reason, it often takes several days, sometimes a full week, for my submission to be received by my manager. It would be reassuring if there was an auto-reply, instead of waiting and wondering if they received it.

Change invoice date after item has been approved
It would be useful to be able to adapt the date of the invoice once an invoice has been approved but before it is published. This is particularly useful when month end has been locked in Xero but invoices are still awaiting approval in Dext for that month so they can be redated the following month.

Add a margin to a billable expense for my clients
I would love if the software allowed us to add a margin to a billable expense for my clients , then I would have to go through and alter them all when attaching to invoices

Select which A/P account Dext posts to in QuickBooks Desktop
It would be nice to have flexibility as to which AP account Dext posts to. Ideally, it would be a field that would tie to a vendor and be memorized.

Ability to subscribe to an email about recent releases
It would be great if Dext could email us about recent features and enhancements so that we can be aware of things changing. This would enable us to adopt the changes in a timely manner.
