  1. When you go into Approvals for the first time, there is a button to take you through to setting them up in Settings. But once you have something to approve, there is no longer a quick link to setting up more. Can we have a quick link button?

  2. When the lines have been itemised, and your in the itemized screen. If there's more than one line, we can add the category one time and the job number one time and it'll automatically fill in the lines below. Right now we're having to cut and paste each line. Thank you!

  3. I would like for there to be an option to edit/filter what is put onto an expense PDF/Export. For example, the ability to remove tax / net value, and only display gross values.

  5. Currently, Dext only captures and sends the invoice total to QuickBooks Online. For outgoing invoices, this creates issues when a customer has already made a partial payment, since the balance due is often different from the total. This forces manual adjustments inside QuickBooks for nearly every invoice.

    I would like to request an enhancement that allows Dext to:

    Recognize and extract the Balance Due field (when present on an invoice).

    Provide a setting or toggle so users can choose whether to publish the Total or the Balance Due to QuickBooks.

  6. Dext Vault: Dext Vault in the Folders View and inside a folder, have a column with a Summary icon we can hover over and read (similar to how we can do that with Notes and Messages).

  8. When month end or year end is closed in Quickbooks, Dext will still override the bill date of anything in process. Would be amazing to have either a close out lock for anything prior to that closing date (and ability to change the invoice date to the current period) or the ability to have an admin priviledge granted to change the date/description with a note to adjust this.

    Currently we need to take an approved invoice out of approvals, edit the date, leave a note about why we edited the date, re-send it for approval, and then go approve it…

  10. Currently you have to go into each client and click the Sync button. Please could we have a global Sync button, so you can do all the work for the day, then just one click for all clients to sync with the accounting software.

A lot of our clients travel by train and we are finding that there are a lot of items being flagged as duplicates which are not. e.g. they buy 2 singles for the same day separately because its cheaper. We have removed any auto-merging and manually review them all now. It has left some clients concerned about what may have been merged previously so we are going back through old records.   12. Amazon Business Canada fetching is not bringing in the actual Invoices, Dext is making their own Invoices which don't include all the details needed by the CRA. Please fetch the actual official Amazon Invoices.

  17. In the current Statement Reconciliation feature, Dext matches invoices from the supplier statement with invoices pulled from Xero. While it checks for missing or unmatched invoices, it does not compare the invoice amount from the statement against the actual amount of the corresponding invoice in Xero (shown in the "Due" column).

    This becomes a challenge when there's a variance in the amounts—for example:

    - A revised invoice was issued by the supplier, but the statement reflects the old amount.
    
    - The invoice in Xero shows $1,100, but the statement lists $1,000 (or vice versa).

  18. Category & location should be pre-filled based on selected category/location from the initial review page prior to selecting "Extract line items". This will allow you to pick the category/location that applies to most/all line items. This feature exists already when pre-selecting category/location prior to selecting "create line items".

  19. HMRC MTD for IT allows you to change the financial year from 6 April - 5 April, to 1 April - 31 March. As per HMRC, you opt for one or the other, and then it remains that way. Yet in Dext Solo, you cannot change this financial year. The only option given is 6 April - 5 April. Please allow Solo to change the year just as HMRC allows you to change the year. Solo should reflect that option too.

  20. Please allow a user to add an NEW items to an Expense Claim directly from the mobile app without going through Costs. A user has an expense receipt in their hand at point of payment, so why not allow them to choose the Expense Claim to assign it to via the mobile APP before submission. It makes no sense to put it in the Costs Inbox first and then have to move it. Just let the user specify that it's an Expense Claim in the App!
