Great idea. Even easier just take the first x number of words and put it in the note. Simpler for clients to do and will just work.

One area that would need thinking about is if a client forwards an email as an attachment. You want the attachment as the invoice/receipts etc and then the comments in email body as the note. Again should be simple.

Feature request: keep the body of emails when they have attachments (keep both in the transaction). The reason for this is that clients send receipt attachments and put memos in the body of the emails. Currently, Dext keeps the attachment only and deletes the email. Thanks

It's annoying if clients add I fo as we don't see the original email

When clients send receipts as attachments to an email, I would like the email to be captured as well as the attached receipt

Please add this feature. It would save huge amounts of time I spend communicating with my client.

Make it so you can see email content with out using #note
This is very difficult for clients to get correct and important information can be lost that was in the original email

If you put the text #note before and after your typed note in Your email. The note will appear in the note section.

Eg. #note purchase of item #note

Not pulling information from emails. No one ever remembers to add the #note both before and after. Hubdoc will create an item from the body of message. I would prefer to delete than miss something.

Sometimes there is relevant information in the email body that should be attached to the invoice. It takes some time to download emails and invoices, join them and send onto Dext. It would save time if Dext could merge them.

We really need this too - I'm surprised there aren't more votes. An option to add notes on mobile but not email seems odd!
