Being able to adjust VAT manually when entering various lines on an invoice
Being able to to adjust vat boxes in line entry would make life easier and quicker as I have a supplier who seems to round up whilst dext rounds down making invoices 1p out on many occasion - sometimes dext wont publish it at all till its correct and sometimes it will publish but changes the figures about to allocate it where it thinks best - either way I have to double up on the work and do manual change in Sage 50

Add "Product/Service" to the primary/additional columns options of line items view so it can be enabled/disabled. At the moment we show this field for all customers integrated with Xero and QBO on the line items view, even if there are no entries pulled/created and the field is actually greyed out. The clients need to have the option to choose what columns/fields are relevant for them.

More Bespoke Line Item Extraction
I wonder if we can talk about Dext doing a more bespoke extraction - to pick up the bvat entires too please. Some lines are a mix of income & expendiures, such as winnings and costs, some with and some without vat, so it would be great if Dext could pick up these breakdowns too instead of the whole total for the line. It is very niche to horse racing - but we act for A LOT of clients in this sector, so this would be a game changer for us.

Minor line adjustments
Add a "Minor Adjustment" feature to invoices/line items. Xero have this feature for adjusting for small amounts. Ideal for rounding errors.

Clicking TAB when entering category in line item instead of having to click with mouse
When you enter a category name or number in line items if the first line is the correct one then you can click on tab instead of having to click with the mouse, same with the tax code. Would make things a lot easier especially when doing catch up jobs with large amount of data

Show the "Quantity" field of the Line Items directly on the main page
Id like to see a 'Quantity' box on the front screen. Even if the data isnt read from the invoice it would be nice to have the ability to manually put it in.
I know its there is a spot if you click into he line items but it would be nice to have it on the main page for speed. ie for fuel litres especially as this then goes into a BAS.2 votes -
Supplier Line Item Template
Setting up a template for recurring suppliers wherein line items need to be entered so that efforts are not doubled by entering the same line items 2-3 times a month. For recurring supplier invoices wherein the amounts vary biweekly but the corresponding accounts for each line item don't change.

Add more than one line at a time when adding line items
I'd love to be able to add multiple item lines at once. When you go in edit lines items you can add 1 line for different products per invoice sometimes I may have 10 products but i have to add 1 line at a time

Improve Customer field/search box in Line Items.
1) The combobox is tiny. 2) The search matches any characters... so if we search for customer abbreviations "ABC" or "ARN" it will find any customer with any of those letters. That's not helpful. Fuzzy search terms should at least be space delimited, so acronyms/abbreviations only match a sequence of characters, not any characters in the entire string.

Separate gratuity field
It would be helpful if there was a place to separate out the gratuity on a receipt. Those aren't taxed so we have to go in after and adjust the tax amount that Dext calculates. We still want to track that portion of the expense for CC matching, etc.

Secondary tax field in line items for Canadian clients with QBO
Add a field for secondary tax rate in line items so we can split a tax with 'Extracted Amount' correctly. Otherwise right now QuickBooks calculates is automatically based on the tax rate percentage and the amounts are not correct.

Option to filter items by Line Items, and Customer Name assigned within the Line Items
I am exporting transactions for a customer into a CSV file and I can't seem to capture any line items transactions for that customer. The filter doesn't seem to capture any invoices that have that customer listed in the line items. As some of our invoices can contain several customer names, we apply the names in the line items. Is there a way to filter by customer and by line items?
We are missing a huge amount of invoices for particular customers in our transaction reports for monitoring.
