  1. For approvals, can we have these approvals printed on the invoices prior to publishing?
    Currently the only way to check if an invoice was approved is to go to 'history'. It would be ideal if the approval can be displayed somewhere on the invoice as well. So it maintains that flow.

    Once invoices are published to QBO, there is no way to know which manager approved the invoice for audit purposes. This is a requirement for audit purposes.

    The approval is a great feature, but defeats the purpose for audit.

  2. Is there a way of entering home to work mileage on the mileage claim? The distance can be manually edited, but it would not be possible to see an audit trail of what private mileage had been deducted for HMRC.

  3. Be able to select invoice brand in DEXT so that the sales invoice picks up the correct payment terms. It currently just defaults to the wrong brand, putting payment terms in that I have to subsequently remove in Xero

  4. Love the new mileage feature but have a client who uses a reduced rate for mileage claims rather than the standard 45p would be really useful to be able to enter the mileage rate manually. Please Dext

  7. Using the new version is there a way I can instantly see the assigned manager on the main Users page (maybe the ability to add a column for this) without going into each individual user? We used to be able to see this in the My Team page on the old version next to the user privileges.

  9. It would be nice if the calendar started on Sunday instead of Monday, like most calendars. If you're looking to select Tuesday, you might select Wednesday instead because of where it's sitting visually.

  10. URGENT! I want my clients that are business owners to be user admins but not publish to the accounting software as our clients hit all kinds of buttons and mess things up. Previously they were “expense approvers” that could be selected to not publish. This is very important for myself and other dext users.

  11. Since DEXT is all about the ease of uploading photos of receipts, I would like to request that photos of bank statements for the extraction tool be an option. I am currently having to print the photos the client has uploaded, scan them, and then upload the scanned documents for extraction. In doing this, the quality of the photo is lost, and then the document often gets rejected.

  12. eg so can easily see all practice admins or easily see who is listed as owner or expense approver etc

    currently colleague list is sorted by name and that seems to be the only way you can view staff list

  15. Currently need them set up carefully in order with exceptions first and cant change if new accounts, etc become exceptions and need to go at the start of the process. Would be good if we could reorder as you would currently have to delete some or all existing workflows and set back up if you need to create any new exceptions at the start of the process.

  17. We have the ability to Add a Payment Method from the categorization page, but how about being able to update a new payment method that Dext created automatically. I like that Dext draws my attention to a new payment method, but it's inconvenient to have to exit the receipt I'm working on in order to update it, find the lists under Business Settings and then return to the Inbox.

    Similarly, if Dext thinks it's a new payment method but it just misread the receipt, there is now another payment method in the list that is not real. You think it…

  18. If we need to enter an old date we can't just enter 01012024, we have to put in / which is frustrating as in QBO you can just enter the numbers so it's a habit already. Dext gives an error 'Use dd/mm/yy.' it would be useful to not have to add in the /

  19. Hi,

    We would really like to see an option to DELETE PERMANENTLY FROM THE SUBMISSION HISTORY. The reason for this is a privacy issue for us as a bookkeeping firm. When working back and forth through different clients it's a pretty easy mistake to drag and drop a receipt to the wrong client account, or email a reciept to the wrong client account. The issue is we cannot permanently delete the submission so therefore there is a privacy issue with submission history. Please allow a feature to Submission History that allows us to permanently delete a submission. Thanks.

  20. I use this program to reconcile several bank accounts. I think it would be nice to be able to set each account as reconciled up to a certain date, so that if an old receipt is submitted it would be flagged, and so it may be able to get the date order correct. November 1st instead of January 11th etc.
