  1. Provide the ability to search for a Category in the category list to toggle on or off. Our list is 3900 categories and it's time consuming to scroll through the list to get to the bottom

  2. I've noticed that invoice approvals are sometimes delayed for valid reasons, such as awaiting further clarification or documentation. Currently, we have no way to add a comment while the invoice is still pending approval—comments can only be added after an invoice is either approved or rejected.

    This limitation creates unnecessary follow-up work, as we have to chase approvers directly to find out the reason for the delay. If there were an option to add a comment or note while the invoice is still pending, it would:

    Allow approvers to provide context if they need more time or information

    Reduce back-and-forth…

  3. As UK VAT Numbers have recently been added to the workspace. It hasn't been available to extract in PDF or CSV format. If it was able to, this would be of great help!

  4. Several software providers issue both an invoice and a receipt for the same cost. The documents are identical apart from being labelled either 'invoice' or 'receipt.' Can these be automatically merged since they are duplicates?

  5. Edit/Override Missing Invoices From the Extracted Data of the Supplier Statement

    Please add the ability to manually edit supplier statement entries and override extracted fields such as type and total amount when data extraction is incorrect. When I upload a supplier statement, sometimes it would read an amount as a credit type. It would be nice to override this amount to an invoice type, so it can properly find the invoice associated with it.

  6. Please add the ability to change the data that imports to Quickbooks desktop from the description to the PO or the ability to automatically add the PO number in that description. This information is crucial for payment and accounting processes but currently needs to be manually added in every invoice.

  7. When you go into Approvals for the first time, there is a button to take you through to setting them up in Settings. But once you have something to approve, there is no longer a quick link to setting up more. Can we have a quick link button?

  9. Supplier Aliases has been released now but it would be brilliant if this was available for Customer Aliases. We have clients that use a specific invoicing system and there can be variations of the same limited company name. It would be a big help if Customer Aliases was available to avoid creating duplicate contacts.

  11. I'd love to be able to see number of items awaiting approval from the dashboard page showing all clients (alongside the columns showing costs items, sales items, expense claims). I will check in Dext before running accounts payable within Xero, to ensure everything is included - but I am missing items that have been sent for approval and not yet approved.
    I know it is visible when I click into the individual client, but it would be great to see it at the top level

  12. When the lines have been itemised, and your in the itemized screen. If there's more than one line, we can add the category one time and the job number one time and it'll automatically fill in the lines below. Right now we're having to cut and paste each line. Thank you!

  14. Would be great to be able to add additional columns on the Approvals Tab - similar to what is available on the 'Inbox' tab. Would make reviewing correct allocations of costs much quicker.

  16. Currently, Dext only captures and sends the invoice total to QuickBooks Online. For outgoing invoices, this creates issues when a customer has already made a partial payment, since the balance due is often different from the total. This forces manual adjustments inside QuickBooks for nearly every invoice.

    I would like to request an enhancement that allows Dext to:

    Recognize and extract the Balance Due field (when present on an invoice).

    Provide a setting or toggle so users can choose whether to publish the Total or the Balance Due to QuickBooks.

  17. I receive an email to reconnect my bank feed, 1 day before it expires which is too short notice. Is there a way to add an additional reminder, say 1 week before it expires?
