Allow app to instantly open camera without first connecting to Dext and loading app data
Currently the app will wait for a connection to Dext, then load current inbox data before loading the camera to take photos of receipts. This takes 5-10 seconds on a good wifi or 5G connection.
When the wifi and mobile data is turned off, the app can instantly load the camera.
The delay when loading the Dext app to quickly scan a receipt is frustrating and unnecessary.
The app could connect and load data in the background while allowing the user to add documents or load the camera.
Further, there is no guarantee that the internet connection will stay available…

Sub-Item/Product needed for Inventory Assets in QBO
Sub-Item/Product needed in QBO Inventory. We are a dealership that enters a vehicle as a primary inventory asset and then adds various parts for that vehicle as inventory asset items nested under that primary inventory item. This feature is available in QBO but not in Dext. A drop down bar beneath the new product name to select which existing inventory item the new item belongs with would solve this problem.

Adding Bespoke Tags to Line Items
I would like to be able to easily add a marker (or tag) to all my line items so that identify the items that contain UK VAT..
The tag could be used for other thinge also and should be an easy add. i have googled and can see something on Google Precision, i dont know what that is, but Prepare suits me fine and so adding bespoke TAGS would be a great feature to me (and thousands of others i beleive)

make it easier to see which account I'm submitting to
I have several Dext Prepare accounts. I'm trying to add a document via Dextextension - I'm allowed to select to submit to Dext and choose Costs, but it doesn't ask me which account I'm uploading to. I've checked all of my accounts and I don't see the document in any of them.

Payment Reference for Posting as Paid to Accounting Package (with default option for each payment Method)
Please allow us to add a payment reference to an Invoice/Receipt/Bill when publishing it as paid.
Allow us to assign a Default Payment Reference to a Payment Method that then pre-populates the Payment Reference for All Bills using that specific Payment Method, the user can then manually update each invoice if a change needs to be made or can add a Payment Reference when editing the Invoice.
When the user submits a document as paid to their accounting package it uses this Payment Reference as the Payment Reference for the payment created in their accounting package, this will help the…

Product and services codes from QBO purchase order
Please implement extracting product/service codes from the actual QBO Purchase order so the product and service codes don't have to be entered twice. (Once at PO stage and second time in Dext).

Extract GST based on GST and PST present, but only publish GST (5%)
Provide calculation of GST and publishing of GST only when both GST and PST are present on an invoice.
The extracting and calculating seem to be already in place and correct. It's a matter of publishing.
The proposed function is when a 2nd tax is NOT active (PST) and the user uses the GST/PST BC extraction method, that it will only publish the GST amount (5%) and the PST amount (7%) will be added to the expense, NOT the GST (tax) amount.
This will calculate the taxes properly when both taxes are present.
This will allow the user to create…2 votes -

copy URL of items to put in spreadsheet
I am copying the URL address of certain items and placing them in a spreadsheet, I would like these to load the actual item. Sometime this work sometimes not, I suspect it depends on whether I create the link before or after it is published/archived.
My workflow is that I am creating a crosscharge cost to send to another company made up of select cost items that are in other expense sheets. This seems the most efficient way to do this.
