  1. Items uploaded are automatically allocated into Auto Expense Claims by the date they were uploaded, not the actual date/transaction date of the item/receipt. This causes items to be allocated into the wrong month and forces users to have to manually move them back.
    ie. You upload a receipt dated 28/02/2026 on 02/03/2026, it is automatically put in the Auto Expense Report for March 2026 (Ending 31/03/2026) despite it being a February 2026 receipt. This makes no sense, as receipt are always reconcilled based on the transaction date on the bank statement. It is frustrating to always have to continually move…

  2. Please add a feature that automaticallynotifies me when my manager receives my submitted expense claim. For some reason, it often takes several days, sometimes a full week, for my submission to be received by my manager. It would be reassuring if there was an auto-reply, instead of waiting and wondering if they received it.

  3. I would love if the software allowed us to add a margin to a billable expense for my clients , then I would have to go through and alter them all when attaching to invoices

  4. I know how to manually refresh the lists. I just don't remember prior to processing. I would like to be able to set a schedule for clients that use Projects/Customers so it is something I do not have to remember.

  5. As vault will be a fee-based add on, DEXT should allow clients to choose if they want to allow access to this. I recently had a staff of a client use vault quietly when he should have been using inbox for his normal expenses. DEXT does not currently allow me as admin to prevent him from doing this.

  6. Would be great to customise flags practice-wide for all clients. We want a standardised approach, especially for the apprentices. Great feature but would make more sense practice-wide than changing it on individual client basis

  7. For Zoho Books bills, we have created some custom fields such as suggested payment date and how the payment will be made (direct debit, manual etc). There doesn't seem to be any option to populate these fields in Dext, so have to reopen them in Zoho to add these in. So I would like Dext to be able to pull any custom fields per the company on Zoho as well as the criteria requirements (such as drop down, or date)

  9. It would be great if Dext could email us about recent features and enhancements so that we can be aware of things changing. This would enable us to adopt the changes in a timely manner.

Our employees that are standard users are still able to edit, delete, archive, unarchive expense claims that were already approved and published. this is defeating the purpose as it creates chaos after publishing. Please change it so that once an expense claim is approved, it cannot be edited/archived/unarchived, etc.

  13. I want there to be a column on the paperwork request button in QB using the Dextention that shows which sub-user account it is that had the transaction. In the transactions page in Dext, this is an option.

  14. When checking for duplicated invoices, Dext ignores the amount but report whenever there are two or more invoices from the same supplier with the same reference number.

    This way duplicated invoices with differring amounts will get picked up. At the moment these invoices slips through the cracks.

  15. I'm wishing for a thumbnail view option in the Inbox. Case in point, I am looking at a list of documents from Vendor 1 (filtered list). And i know some of them are just statements or advertisements while others are invoices. A thumbnail view would let me see what is in the doc without manually clicking View image each time.

    Pouvoir augmenter la limite du nombre d'utilisateurs dans un Circuit de validation.
    Actuellement, la limite est de 5.
    (Nous avons la possibilité d'ajouter plusieurs étapes. Cependant, les utilisateurs ne sont pas toujours les mêmes : Selon le projet, la facture, l'acheteur initial.)
