I would like this feature. I would want job / customer to be mandatory before sending the receipt for review.

Create an option that requires that the customer field must be specified on all cost items
Currently cost items can be pushed from Dext to QuickBooks Online without a customer, causing that particular cost to go into a unspecified column
This requires maintenance of the data to reallocate from unspecified to a particular job
This toggle would prevent the data from being pushed to Quickbooks until it specified the customer -

There is a client that would like to have it mandatory that a tracking category selected to publish this in Xero.

For cost receipts, making the customer box have to be filled in prior to publishing. This is how we assign costs to a job (customer). It then goes to quickbooks. However if a PM forgets to put in the customer it does not get the costs applied to a job.

Would LOVE for this to be effective for PO's. And for it to be the approvers responsibility. Currently all required fields are flagged before an item can be sent for approval, but often this information is not available to the accounting team and needs to be entered by the approver.

Yes, please add a feature where a job/project allocation is required to be filled before publishing.

One of our clients has multiple site, tracked in Xero via the tracking option. IT would be really helpful if publishing could be blocked unless that field has been filled in

Give businesses more autonomy on whch fields must contain data before a user can submit. E.g. we want our users to enter a DESCRIPTION of what they have purchased before they submit - but there is no way that we can make this mandatory. Other systems allow this - Dext should too

We would like to see choosing a Class as a mandatory field before publishing to QBO.

Toggle certain fields as mandatory in the settings (ie. Location) - this would prevent publishing docs without this info, when it is required by the client. This would prevent needing to run reports in QBO to figure out which bills need to have their location set if this step is missed prior to publishing.

The ability to make certain fields required when clients are uploading documents.
For example- When our construction clients are uploading Fuel or other vehicle receipts we would like them to select which class (vehicle) the expense is for.Another huge help for these clients would be selecting the customer or project.
If we could also set it up so that they are only allowed to select from a select few would be great too
This would save so much time from us going back to the client all the time asking for the customer and or which vehicle the expense was for!

A feature that blocks the publishing of an invoice if certain criteria of an invoices details are not filled in.
Like how an invoice cannot be published without a category or supplier. And a user can edit which categories should be mandatory.

ability for us to choose which fields to make mandatory as it is different for all of us. Class is a must for us when employees are adding a cost on the app.

Make the Invoice Number field mandatory for publishing items to Xero. We have noticed quite a few instances where dext does not 'read' the reference number on an invoice. when publishing these to Xero, dext just assigns them with a reference number in the format 'RB######'
