Merging duplicate invoices and receipts
Several software providers issue both an invoice and a receipt for the same cost. The documents are identical apart from being labelled either 'invoice' or 'receipt.' Can these be automatically merged since they are duplicates?

Agreed, this is a very common situation!

I'd also like to see the same feature available for delivery dockets. I'd like to be able to combine Dext Prepare items for publishing as supporting documents, even if nothing needs to be extracted from them when publishing.

I absolutely agree and it's getting more common for suppliers to do this. I have to manually remove the receipt from the system and have had to turn off auto-publish for many suppliers for this reason. It's costing me time!

I received an "invoice" and a "receipt" from the same customer. They have the exact same invoice ID shown on both. However, DEXT currently does not merge them, and instead treats it as two different transactions, and tries to push them both to Xero. The receipt and invoice is sent from Stripe, based on a repeating subscription. Feature request: If the invoice ID is the same between a receipt and an invoice, then DEXT should identify that they are for the same transaction and merge them / consider them duplicates.
