US date formats
Can you please add the option to have dates in the MM/DD/YYYY format used by the US market as opposed to DD/MM/YYYY

Please add a way to change the date format to mm/dd/yy

Better yet: Make it configurable. I want to see everything in ISO-standard YYYY-MM-DD across systems wherever possible, for ease of sorting by date alphanumerically.

It would be great if you could set in supplier rules that the dates will be in US format for that supplier. I have a US supplier that bills monthly on the 5th for payment on the following 5th and since they date in MM/DD/YYYY dext is constantly making one or both of the dates be in May, and I have to manually fix it each month. I've asked the supplier to use month names, or move the billing date to after the 12th or use UK dates, but they can't do any of those, so I'm stuck.

Set different default date formats IE: yyyy-mm-dd or yyyy/mm/dd, mm-dd-yy, etc.

As a Canadian, being able to set this by supplier (as well as choose a default for a whole Dext account) so that our American supplier invoices always use MMDDYYYY and our other invoices are still extracted properly as DDMMYYYY would reduce so much confusion and so many errors.
Barring that, adding the option to have Dext add a little flag to the date field when the extracted date is ambiguous (eg. any combination of days and months from 1-12) would help a ton, as it would cue the user to doublecheck the date before publishing. -

Well because of this basic setting being not available, I had a few bills which were assigned January, instead of October due to this. This is such a basic thing that I’m annoyed you don’t have that. This needs to be escalated.

I've read all the comments and agree with providing options for date format. It should be flexible and up to the user or organization to select their date format. We like to use YYYY-MM-DD. Providing flexibility is always a better option than hard coding where possible when it comes to fields like dates.
You should provide the user the ability to format their date option regardless of where they are located (country or otherwise).

Please please please give an option for date format.
I'm in the US, which makes things confusing, and, on some dates throughout the year, it reverses the day and month. For increased efficiency, I would suggest not having to type the "/" in the date field like QuickBooks with the option of US or EU date format in the settings. In QuickBooks, I can type 0105 in the date field and it will automatically assume the current year and place "01/05/2022" in the date field as I press tab to move to the next field. I love Dext, but this is the one feature that irks me every time.
Please make this option available. Please, and thank you!

allow the ability to choose the date format. in history tab the dates are in european format...day/month/year. can be confusing if you are not careful.

It would be helpful if you those of us in America could have a version with american date format. I very strange example of how this affects us is here. This receipt for June 4 was imported as April 6. Not sure if that is based on Vendor address in UK. but they apparently americanized it for us, and the bot or whatever read it, read it wrong.
