User Restrictions
It is good if DEXT can set users restrictions so they can only use specific projects and/or account categories
We are exploring the best way to handle more advanced user restrictions

Hello. There are two features I really wish were available in Dext that would be a huge help. #1 - the ability to control what we want people to select when uploading a receipt AND be able to require (or not) those items. It's very important for us that people select certain things when uploading a receipt. But we have no way to "force" that to happen since we can't require anything. #2 - the ability to set custom reminder parameters when something isn't done. For example, if a receipt is not uploaded currently, I'd love the ability to push a notification to the person when I want, as often as I want, and to do it automatically until the receipt is uploaded. This automation really helps "force" compliance without creating more work for those monitoring it. I hope you all will seriously consider adding this helpful feature. Thank you.

Totally agree, this would be an excellent feature.

It would be useful for us if we could limit what some Users can view to specific Projects/Jobs.
For example: Our Retail Manager is away for a few weeks and a stand-in employee will be reviewing/approving supplier invoices for our Brisbane Store (Job: "Brisbane"). We would want the employee to only be able to view invoices that relate to the Brisbane Store and to have no access to other aspects of the business.
At the moment this does not appear to be possible. The only option at the moment is to set him up as a basic user but then he will only be able to view invoices he has posted himself (therefore he won't be able to view/approve invoices that I have received via email to the accounts department or invoices received and posted to DEXT via other staff).

I'd like to be able to give certain users access to only a portion of my categories list to limit their visibility over the categories list and to improve our control and expense management.
By providing the option to limit categories specifically for Basic users, we can expose the small handful that are relevant.
This makes it much easier to to choose an option, and much more likely they will choose the correct option.
