  2. Please allow a user to add an NEW items to an Expense Claim directly from the mobile app without going through Costs. A user has an expense receipt in their hand at point of payment, so why not allow them to choose the Expense Claim to assign it to via the mobile APP before submission. It makes no sense to put it in the Costs Inbox first and then have to move it. Just let the user specify that it's an Expense Claim in the App!

  3. Is there an ability to publish customer invoices or supplier bills that total to NIL due to the offset of discounts or grants. For example we are a charity that receive a 100% discount on all invoices from Microsoft under their nonprofit grants and discounts program. We are required under the accounting standards to record both the cost and discount received to arrive at a NIL bill. But i cannot get Dext to do this and so i am doing this manually each week on every bill we have. Its soooo frustrating and makes Dext almost redundant because i need…

  4. Would it be possible to notify the submitter that the period is locked before it goes into approvals? I have had invoices not getting published because the invoice is old and the period is locked which results in putting the invoice back into the inbox, changing the date, and then sending it again for approval.
    Additionally, if I were to have to send an invoice back for approval, it would be great if I were able to add a note / feedback about why the invoice is being sent in for approval again even when it was approved by the…

  5. I’d like to suggest a usability improvement regarding the layout of the main interface. When scrolling down through the list of invoices on Desktop, the top section (including the Inbox, Export, Filters, etc.) remains quite large and takes up significant vertical space.

    As a result, the area dedicated to viewing and interacting with invoices is too small, making it difficult to navigate and work efficiently.

    Would it be possible to minimize or collapse the top section when scrolling down, or at least reduce its height dynamically? This would greatly improve the user experience, especially for those working on smaller screens…

  6. It would be good of we could add a PO number to the individual Lines to enable multiple PO's to be processed against 1 invoice. Currently only 1 PO is aloud per invoice.

  8. I deal with a number of documents (loan agreements/contracts) which are made in 2 languages (one English, one not). Tried to upload it to Vault, it is recognized and summarized nicely, but the summary was made in Russian instead of English, with no option to change that except Google-translate the summary back to English :) it'd be good to set default language (e.g. English) for recognition of multilingual documents

  10. It would be great to have a feature on Dextension that enables it to search ones inbox for all attachments such as bills/invoices/receipts from suppliers that are saved as contacts in ones Xero account from ones inbox and forward them to Dext.

    When one logs into their email (Gmail, Outlook or other), a prompt comes up asking if Dextension can be allowed to search for the paperwork upon which it runs a scan and automatically forwards anything matching the criteria to one's Dext inbox.

Allow for more detailed approval tiers, ie Manager approval for everything but Capital items within a certain subset of the chart of accounts which should be allowed to be defined without a limit (ie more than 40). Detailed outline example Over $2000 for the subset of accounts outlined in the rule would require an additional Executive approval but costs below $2000 for this account subset would stay within Manager approval limit

  13. I have a lot of receipts for my restaurant clients that have a combination of taxed and non-taxed items on the same receipt. Non taxed is always food purchases. Taxed items is frequently either packaging materials or cleaning supplies. I would like to have a split option that can recognize how much tax was charged,(eg. 13.00 HST) and know that on this bill, 100+tax is packaging (113.00) and the remainder is Food (non taxed).

I need products and services instead of categories as workflow options, can we please add this?? :) We don't use categories and to get our main approval work flow set up, I'm going to have to use 1 category and it really doesn't work for us as a whole. Products and services were solely to ensure projects would work via QBs but then over here aren't included in workflow approvals.

  16. I used to switch clients and immediately be in the "Costs" page. Now I have to do extra clicks to get there as it is going to the Overview page. I would like to be able to set the default landing page for clients.

Bank transactions Audit trail/history to show where the bank transaction came from (bank feed or bank statement upload) and when it was imported, which user coded which transaction line, which property it related to, what date/time it was updated and what code was selected. Also should record subsequent changes. This should look exactly like the 'history' tab that appears on the right hand side when looking at cost items which is really good. this is really useful to see any changes.

  19. Just wanted to throw in a little feedback that I think could seriously level up the workflow for those of us juggling multiple clients.

    Right now, if a bunch of clients use the same supplier, we have to hop into each individual client file to tweak supplier rules. It gets pretty repetitive—especially when it's the exact same rule adjustment across the board.

    Would love to see a feature that lets us manage supplier rules globally—so if, say, multiple clients all use Staples or Rogers, we could adjust that one supplier rule once, and apply it across any clients that have…

  20. The invoices that are already within Zoho books do not show up in the supplier statement. These were posted previously into Zoho books and were not processed through Dext. Can we get a function to look at the invoices in Zoho books to reconcile a Statement in Dext.
