  1. The amount that FIXER provides never matches what our credit card provider or our bank uses. IT would be nice to turn the auto conversion off and force users to enter the real cost.

  2. Similar to the costs archive, it would be beneficial to have the option to archive documents (without deleting them), and to automatically archive older versions of a document. We would benefit from two immediate use-cases with this feature;
    1. Being able to maintain records from a supplier/client who is no longer current who we still require records for, and
    2. Enables iterations of documents with annual renewals (e.g. insurances) where a document can be replaced with a new version and the existing copy is archived.

  3. Be able to add users to the Dext account with Vault access only. We have an internal contract administrator who would be using Vault for managing contractor insurances etc, who doesn't need access to other parts of Dext.

  4. The person logged in to Dext should be the same one as the person publishing to QBO. It makes it easier to know who did the work.

  5. I would like to suggest on the item details tab that you move the notification that there is a match higher up on the screen. It is out of view until I scroll down on the page. I generally work from the top to the bottom and it is frustrating when I see there is a match after populating the details. This would be really helpful I think

  6. When subscriptions are no longer in use under a multi-subscription organisation, there needs to be an option to hide inactive organisations from the drop down list. This would avoid confusion, and create a much more straight-forward display.
    At the moment, our default organisation is an inactive one, so every time we log in we have to select the correct organisation from the drop down list. There needs to be an option to select one org. as the default org. that opens every time you log in.

  7. We require insurance certificates of currency from the majority of our suppliers. It would be helpful if a file structure could be created for suppliers in Dext, based on the Suppliers List under Costs for these to be stored in.

  13. Shocked that this isn't already a feature, to be honest! Bank Match info just disappears once Items are Archived. I am often referring back to archived transactions, and not having the full record of what info was shown when it was published is just annoying. Having to unarchive it, and then go back to the Inbox and scroll to find it is really cumbersome. This data is clearly still in Dext, so please just surface it the same way you do in the Inbox.

  15. Add a rule whereby certain brands can be detected to help quicky categorise purchases. As with Amazon clients purchase multiple items and Dext recognises/remembers one category. Plus the ability to set a £ value limit where no category is selected this may help so things are not published in a hurry!

  16. Set a default "business" for the mobile app.

    I have my own business (on mobile this is primarily to capture receipts) and then I also have access to a client's business (for reviewing, never adding). Because I have two businesses, when I open the app I need first select my own business which defeats the purpose of the very nice setting of "Open on camera".

  19. Is there a way of entering home to work mileage on the mileage claim? The distance can be manually edited, but it would not be possible to see an audit trail of what private mileage had been deducted for HMRC.
