Flag colours improvement
I love that you've added different coloured flags. It would be great if the orange/red flag that was the original had the option to be turned on or off as well. I don't need different coloured flags at the moment, but I'd love to change the colour of the one flag I'm using to something other than red. I know I can turn on another colour and just use that, but it means I have to select from a dropdown each time instead of it just being the one colour I've made available.

Multi currency prepayments
Your new prepayments feature is great but won't process multi currency prepayments. Dext already converts to GBP from currency. Can we have the feature please

expense claim cover sheet signatures
In the expense claim submission process, can you add a step that adds digital signatures to the PDF coversheet?
By virtue of the employee submitting the claim, I would like that to add their digital signature to the cover sheet, then when the manager approves it should add their signature. So when the expense claim is approved and finalized, the PDF export shows a signed coversheet.
Also, if an expense claim gets sent back to the employee for further edits, their original signature is removed and is blank until the correct edits have been made.

Tracking categories applied from Purchase Orders in Xero
We have Purchase orders in Xero that have tracking categories assigned. It would be great if these tracking categoies could be automatically assigned in Dext when matching to purchae invoices in Dext to the Purchase orders that are in Xero.

User Permissions to limit adding new users
Right now if a user is added as Standard they are quite limited. But making them a User Admin allows them to add and remove other users.
Our auditors see this as a control issue; Xero has similar set permission roles, but allows you to check a box for allowing that person to add or remove users.
While Dext could do a lot of granular things with permissions as seen in all the suggestions. Having an overall control to choose which users can add or remove other users is fundamental for financial control.

Add Papua New Guinean Phone Numbers to Whatsapp integration
We do business in Australia and Papua New Guinea. The WhatsApp integration for inputting receipts into Dext would be perfect, however the PNG phone code is not available (+675).

Enable Bank Match for Partial Amounts or Variance Tolerance
Currently, the Bank Match feature in Dext only allows matching when the invoice amount and the bank transaction amount are exactly the same. However, in real-world scenarios, this isn’t always the case. For example:
An invoice is for $1,000, but the bank feed shows $1,050 due to a credit card surcharge. Updated Xero Bank Statement Upload template - PAYEE column
I am using dext bank statement extraction for my clients and then using the Xero csv export to import into Xero. However, the Payee column in Dext isn't available and have to manually manipulate to upload into Xero properly.

Persist the sort order in Approvals
If you sort the approvals list by any header category and then open a specific line, when you hit the back button the sort is lost. You then have to re-sort the field again. It would be useful if the back button actually took you back to exactly where you were so you could just continue.

Notes for Browser Upload
I would like there to be a field for notes when upload to dext through the Browser, by drag and drop or select files. This feature is available in the app and through email uploads, but i would like my clients to be able to give notes for better classification on the browser as well. It could be done as a feature that you can turn on or off for clients that need it vs those that don't.

We use UK Leasing Solutions (part of BNP Paribas) to lease all our computer equipment. I get many invoices per month from them and I have to login to download them each time. Can this supplier be added to Invoice Fetch please.

Tax Adjustment in Inbox
Being able to edit the taxes on the screen. So often clients mix items on bills that could have many different tax rate and using the create line items adds soooooo much time on to process I hate using it. Especially food related bills as some foods have GST and PST, some only GST and some exempt.

Import PO numbers into Quickbooks Desktop
Please add the ability to change the data that imports to Quickbooks desktop from the description to the PO or the ability to automatically add the PO number in that description. This information is crucial for payment and accounting processes but currently needs to be manually added in every invoice.

Add Mileage Tracking in Portugal
Allow for mileage tracking to work for companies in Portugal. We don't need any calculations, just the basic functionality of identifying the car being used, who is driving, the reason for the trip, and the distance traveled.

Sorting categories
Sort Categories that do not have a code in order of:
- Current assets
- Long-term assets
- Current liabilities
- Long-term liabilities
- Equity
- Income
- Cost of sales
- Expenses
- Other income
- Other expenses
The gl is synced with QBO. My client will not add codes. I could be trying to code something to Interest and will have no idea whether the account that I'm looking at is interest income or interest expense without looking up in QuickBooks.1 vote
