  1. It would be ideal if when uploading a credit card receipt , the field supplier would be optional. This would help to not to create additional suppliers card files in the accounting system

  2. Add the Publish/Edit button to the bottom right Panel of the Approvals section like the Inbox section. After you scroll down to review the information, you should be able to select the Publish or Edit button.

  3. I'm reviewing each one, but when line items are all matched, there is nothing really more to do than reconcile/archive. If the line items are all matched, why do I need to see it?

    My vision would be to be able to run an "Aged Payables" (exportable) report in Dext which is checked against the same report run in QBO or Xero automatically. As part of my monthly and year end processes, I check Aged Payables to check everything is correctly shown but it would be great if this report from Dext could have a column confirming the period end…

  5. For approvals, can we have these approvals printed on the invoices prior to publishing?
    Currently the only way to check if an invoice was approved is to go to 'history'. It would be ideal if the approval can be displayed somewhere on the invoice as well. So it maintains that flow.

    Once invoices are published to QBO, there is no way to know which manager approved the invoice for audit purposes. This is a requirement for audit purposes.

    The approval is a great feature, but defeats the purpose for audit.

  7. The Autocategorisation fails to be correct on the most basic of documents. Improve the AI that reads the documents and applies them to a better category.

    The current AI is too unpolished to be of any use, for example: a parking company, with "Parking" in the name, has a receipt in Dext. It's a parking ticket. Dext Autocategorisation has categorised this to the "Subscriptions" account. Not sure how it has come to that conclusion at all.

  9. Using the new version is there a way I can instantly see the assigned manager on the main Users page (maybe the ability to add a column for this) without going into each individual user? We used to be able to see this in the My Team page on the old version next to the user privileges.

  10. We do not use Po #s, Product/Service or Customer details and would like the option to have them removed as it takes me longer to complete the fields we do use because these are all showing and are blank so it makes me think I am missing something.

  11. Hi there. I desperately need the following updates to be made in order to fully utilize Dext for my business. 1) I need Product/Service to be available in the Advanced search on the Cost inbox and archive. I need to be able to sort by Product/Service. 2) I need Product/Service to be an available column to view within my Cost inbox and archive. These two changes would be a world of a difference for my business. Right now, it's very frustrating to not have these features. Thank you very much!!

  13. Add receipts directly to an expense report instead of uploading to costs and then adding to expense claim. Helps a lot if you have a full inbox so that the receipts aren't processed and then lost in the mix when you already know they're for an expense claim

  14. It would be great if Dext had an approval process for a new supplier/customer addition. Currently, we are doing the same in ApprovalMax and returning to Dext to upload the invoice.

  15. We currently use ApprovalMax for approvals - bills publish from Dext to Xero as "Awaiting Approval" which are then automatically loaded to ApprovalMax for the approvals process. Switching to Dext approvals would be amazing however there doesn't seem to be a way to have the bill publish to Xero until after the approvals process is complete. Please could this be considered as an idea

  16. In the workflow, we need to be able to select a cost account, but perhaps exclude some suppliers as these should go for approval to someone else.
    The ideal exclusion should be allowed by selecting the supplier account specifically.
    Otherwise, there should be a way to select all suppliers and manually deselect the ones to exclude. This does not seem possible at the moment.

  17. Hi! I really think it would be incredibly useful to be able to use the new supplier statements section to DIRECTLY mark statements as paid in QBO, select the payment date, and attach the supplier statement document directly to the payment record in QBO. I initially thought this was a part of the new feature , and while it is useful as is I think this would take it to the next level!

  18. We should be able to choose which customer bills get assigned to which Project Manager.
    We are a construction company and buy let's say drywall for 2 different customers managed by 2 different project manager.
    Our bills have the customer name. Bill 1 would go to PM 1 and bill 2 would go to PM2 (SAME SUPPLIER) based on which customer's job it is.

Please could you add additional fields for columns as per the below: I would like to add columns to the costs inbox and archive to display the following details: received into Dext date, published date and published by user name. It would also be useful to access a report showing the number of items submitted to Dext each day, the number published and the number of flagged items.

As we aim to encourage all employees to submit their claims through Dext, we’ve encountered a challenge: the lowest access level currently requires users to input extensive information, such as GL and Class. It would be beneficial to create a new user type specifically for claim submission, allowing users to submit claims without needing to see or enter these detailed accounting details. This would streamline the process and enhance user experience.
