Allow split to be based on how much tax is charged (to split between account with tax and account without tax) rather than percentage or amo
I have a lot of receipts for my restaurant clients that have a combination of taxed and non-taxed items on the same receipt. Non taxed is always food purchases. Taxed items is frequently either packaging materials or cleaning supplies. I would like to have a split option that can recognize how much tax was charged,(eg. 13.00 HST) and know that on this bill, 100+tax is packaging (113.00) and the remainder is Food (non taxed).

Add a New Project via Item Details

When reviewing a receipt or invoice, add a quicklink to add a new project (already exists for Add Category, Add Payment Method, and Set Supplier Rules).

Zapier - identify ready to publish items and trigger auto-publish
It would be great to have a feature in zapier to identify the ready to publish items in dext and trigger the publish action to xero.

Add Product/Service field to columns so can include in export of Costs
Include Product/Service in Export.
I am trying to export my Costs inbox to a spreadsheet which includes enough fields for me to import to our CRM system but when I export entries from DEXT I can't work out how to add Product Service as one of the fields3 votes -

Move to Vault - Sort Folders
When moving an item from the costs inbox to Vault, folders in Vault are sorted chronologically based on creation date. For ease of use, this should default to alphabetical.

Assign Account Managers to Users/ Schools (groups) - Inbox can be filtered by account Manager
Users and/ or Schools should be able to be grouped by having an "account manager" assigned. In my team there are 3 people who look after the checking and publishing in Dext, based on which user submitted the entry, and the school they are located. The inbox has hundreds of entries, 2/3 of which are for another team meamber. It would be great if the Costs inbox (and I suppose Sales could work the same way) could be filtered so that I only see the entries that I need to deal with.

Users should be assigned ROLES so that workflows can be created according to role
Roles should be able to be assigned to standard users, and workflows created around that. These roles should be bespoke (e.g. Submitter, Approver level 1, Approver level 2, approver Level 3 etc) Then workflows can be created so that someone with Approver Level 1 would have their expenses approved by someone at approver Level 2 etc.

Mark individual line items as billable to or not billable to a customer or customers
Unfortunately, simply not putting the customer on the line item does NOT solve the issue. I track my costs to my customers but sometimes I include the subscription for QBOnline and sometimes I invoice for it. I ALWAYS track my specific costs to a customer whether it is billable to them or not as I use PROJECTS. Please fix this. It's a simple toggle on each line item - billable? YES/NO. I have multiple customers that use this feature as we use projects extensively (architects, interior design, etc.). AutoEntry can accomodate this need.

Approval process path not resetting
We have approval pathways that, for certain specific suppliers, goes to one person then to a second approver. Generally all other suppliers go to the second authoriser straight away.
If there are invoices that have been first authorised, waiting on the second authoriser, and I add a new supplier into the approval pathway for the double approval process, any invoice that has been previously authorised by person number 1 and not number 2, goes back to the inbox and has to be sent for person number 1 to authorise again.

Add product and services to approvals workflows
I need products and services instead of categories as workflow options, can we please add this?? :) We don't use categories and to get our main approval work flow set up, I'm going to have to use 1 category and it really doesn't work for us as a whole. Products and services were solely to ensure projects would work via QBs but then over here aren't included in workflow approvals.

Record payments from remittance advices
Customers frequently send remittance advices ahead of making payments, and often these are payments for several invoices. Currently I manually attach these to the payment transactions in Xero on reconciliation. It would be great to see Dext with the ability to scan these remittances, record sales invoices as paid in Xero, and attach the remittance advices to the payment transaction.
I would see this working similarly to the 'paperwork match found' functionality of Costs.

Hide Tax Codes from my QBO List
Let me hide some of the tax codes. So my team only sees the ones they need. Right now they see a lot that they don't need but my finance team does outside of Dext.

Notes for Bookkeepers - not visible to client
I would love if there was a place to add notes to documents that are not visible to the client for internal tracking/informational purposes!

Be able to use company logo as the account avatar
Be able to add the company logo instead of having the company avatar be the first letter of the company name (`A for example)
