I would like to have the ability to set an AI Assist rule to have the AI Agent read the emails which are sent in to Dext with Invoices attached to pick up on specific key words which will either flag that invoice for being reviewed and processing differently or to push it to a separate automated workflow.

  2. When an emails document fails to be imported into dext, for what ever reason the image name is included which is a little helpful. Users will generally be looking for the subject of the email they sent rather then the image name that was attached or the name of the file that dext assigned. Searching for an email subject is the easy way to search for the failed document.

    Please include the subject of the email that was sent that resulted in the "Unsuccessful document upload"

  3. Like an extra button in a column (similar to the healthscore button) that says number of open and active workflows. Ideally hyperlinked to take you through to the workflows section within the client. Would increase visibility on the client list dashboard. Requested by Tasnia

  4. Currently, documents coming from Dext to QBO once published only include the invoice itself. It would be helpful if Dext could also capture the document's history as an additional page that effectively captures the "audit trail" for that document within the QBO pdf. It could include the Notes that were tagged to that invoice along the approval process as well.

  5. Currently, rejecting a document sends it back to the beginning of the process, however it would be nice if instead of sending it back to the originator when "questioning" an expense, you could send it back to any previous approver for that document as well. There are instances where I don't disagree with how the document is captured, but I have a question about the invoice for the first-level approver and no mechanism within Dext to send it back to that person and have them add Notes or Comments to clear up any confusion.

  6. The Amazon Business (UK) API is automatically fetching my purchases, but it's inconsistent whether it fetches the invoice (correct behaviour) or the purchase order (incorrect behaviour). Please make it consistently fetch the VAT invoice.

  7. When I update a transaction in USD (foreign) currency, I input the CAD (Home currency) amount that was taken from the Credit card statement, and when I press tab to switch to the next field (CAD Tax amount), the CAD tax amount field should already update or show as a suggestion underneath the field with the proper exchange rate calculated from the CAD Total field update.

    Right now the auto-update only executes when tax is set as fixed tax value and not as extracted amount value.

  8. Submitted receipts sometimes don't include credit card processing fees (such as when they are charged at the payment terminal, not POS). Fuzzy logic/matching could be implemented for receipts to match to a bank item where the payment amount is within 1-2% of the expense amount.

  9. When Square integrates with Dext Commerce Lite, it extracts the long reference number which is too long for Quickbooks. This means that it can't be auto published, meaning manually having to change this on every fee invoice that comes through before publishing.

  13. Items uploaded are automatically allocated into Auto Expense Claims by the date they were uploaded, not the actual date/transaction date of the item/receipt. This causes items to be allocated into the wrong month and forces users to have to manually move them back.
    ie. You upload a receipt dated 28/02/2026 on 02/03/2026, it is automatically put in the Auto Expense Report for March 2026 (Ending 31/03/2026) despite it being a February 2026 receipt. This makes no sense, as receipt are always reconcilled based on the transaction date on the bank statement. It is frustrating to always have to continually move…

  14. Love the supplier statement but it never matches my credit invoices despite them being in dext. It is searching for the positive value and not the credit value even if the statement shows them as a credit amount.

  15. Please add a feature that automaticallynotifies me when my manager receives my submitted expense claim. For some reason, it often takes several days, sometimes a full week, for my submission to be received by my manager. It would be reassuring if there was an auto-reply, instead of waiting and wondering if they received it.

  16. It would be useful to be able to adapt the date of the invoice once an invoice has been approved but before it is published. This is particularly useful when month end has been locked in Xero but invoices are still awaiting approval in Dext for that month so they can be redated the following month.

  18. The WhatsApp submission is working for our clients, but when they upload a document, no option to give a note to it is available - could this be added? For example, if they have various branches, to note to which branch it belongs.
