  3. I like the concept of Cost Connections, which gets your invoice for you and loads it for processing. There are two problems with it, and this handles one of them. If I want to add a cost connection, I have to go and try to see if my supplier is supported. Since you have a list of suppliers for each account, could a search be done against the names to tell you when you have a supported vendor? It would make this feature much more useful. Many times, I have no idea that I could get the invoice automatically. The…

  4. It would be advantageous to be able to add/upgrade additional extraction limits without having to increase the number of users or statement extraction limits. We have a large number of invoices coming in but don't have many users. Rather than having to increase everything it would help if we could upgrade what we need rather than all limits.

  5. It would be beneficial to categorise suppliers with method of payment (i.e. Direct Debit, BACs, Card, Cash, etc). This can then be a filter option in the Payments module, and allow for faster production of payment runs with a significant reduction in errors.

  6. For monthly management accounts and year-end accounts production, it would be handy to have the ability to extract monthly statements for the wallet account.

  7. Simple Start has had accounts payable functionality for quite a while now. We need to be able to publish bills and vendor credits from Dext.

  8. Love the supplier statement but it never matches my credit invoices despite them being in dext. It is searching for the positive value and not the credit value even if the statement shows them as a credit amount.

  10. Feature Request: Syncing Analysis Accounts from Sage Accounting SA

In the attached screenshot from AutoEntry, you can see that these analysis fields are fully visible and selectable. However, in Dext, it appears we are limited to just Suppliers, Customers, Categories, and Tax settings.

As we use these fields to track our overheads and asset management, not having them in Dext creates a manual bottleneck for us. Is there a way to enable the syncing of these tracking/analysis fields, or is this a feature currently in the pipeline for the South African integration?

I’d love to make the switch to Dext,…

  11. Dext couldn't identify duplicate delivery notes, and sometimes failed identifying duplicate invoices. I would suggest Dext to improve duplicate detection. Also, for the new Supplier Statement function, I hope document references could be kept when moving items from Costs to Supplier Statements, so we can search for statement.

  12. The Prepaid Expense feature is fantastic but there is one detail I would like to be able to change i.e. the date of the Prepayment Release journals. It would be great to have the option to have the date of these journals the same day of the month as the Prepayment Recognition journal. Currently the Prepayment Release journals are created on the last day of the month which is not ideal for running mid-month reports.

  13. Need the ability to edit expense claims after they have been approved. There are times when publishing fails due to the details listed on the expense claim (e.g. date is for a period that is locked, or claim supplier name is rejected). The only way to correct is by rejecting, changing, resubmitting for approval, & approving. This causes the approver to get approval notification again, which is not ideal.

  14. Once you've opened an invoice, there's the option to go back and flag the invoice on the top left, and there's the option to navigate back and forth between invoices on the top right.

It would be nice to have another flag button on the top right next to the arrows so you dont have to keep going across the screen.

  15. I would like to have the ability to set an AI Assist rule to have the AI Agent read the emails which are sent in to Dext with Invoices attached to pick up on specific key words which will either flag that invoice for being reviewed and processing differently or to push it to a separate automated workflow.

    Worked example:
A client which has in-kind sponsorship agreements regularly received invoices for goods and services provided as a donation to the business in exchange for advertising at the business and other perks. The invoices provided for these services commonly do not…

  16. Edit/Override Missing Invoices From the Extracted Data of the Supplier Statement

Please add the ability to manually edit supplier statement entries and override extracted fields such as type and total amount when data extraction is incorrect. When I upload a supplier statement, sometimes it would read an amount as a credit type. It would be nice to override this amount to an invoice type, so it can properly find the invoice associated with it.

  17. When an emails document fails to be imported into dext, for what ever reason the image name is included which is a little helpful. Users will generally be looking for the subject of the email they sent rather then the image name that was attached or the name of the file that dext assigned. Searching for an email subject is the easy way to search for the failed document.

Please include the subject of the email that was sent that resulted in the "Unsuccessful document upload"

  18. Like an extra button in a column (similar to the healthscore button) that says number of open and active workflows. Ideally hyperlinked to take you through to the workflows section within the client. Would increase visibility on the client list dashboard. Requested by Tasnia

  19. Currently, rejecting a document sends it back to the beginning of the process, however it would be nice if instead of sending it back to the originator when "questioning" an expense, you could send it back to any previous approver for that document as well. There are instances where I don't disagree with how the document is captured, but I have a question about the invoice for the first-level approver and no mechanism within Dext to send it back to that person and have them add Notes or Comments to clear up any confusion.

  20. The Amazon Business (UK) API is automatically fetching my purchases, but it's inconsistent whether it fetches the invoice (correct behaviour) or the purchase order (incorrect behaviour). Please make it consistently fetch the VAT invoice.
