The current search functionality in Dext is limited to the screen being viewed (e.g. Inbox or Approvals), requiring administrators to continually switch between queues to locate documents. This creates unnecessary administration time and inefficiency.

In addition, the search function is not always reliable when searching by supplier name, invoice number or invoice amount, making documents difficult to locate even when they exist in the system.

    Requested Improvement
Implement a single global search that searches across all document statuses (Inbox, Approvals, Processed and Archived) from one search bar. Search results should display the document's current status and location within the workflow, allowing administrators to immediately find any document without changing screens.

Improving search accuracy for supplier names, invoice numbers, amounts and OCR-recognised text would further enhance efficiency and significantly improve the user experience.

Currently, this seems to only be available in the UK, not Australia.

Dext currently does not provide a mechanism to automatically compare supplier bank account details contained within invoices against the supplier master data held in Xero, nor does it alert users when banking details have changed.

    Recommendation:
Introduce a supplier bank detail verification workflow that:

Extracts bank account details from supplier invoices.
Compares those details against the supplier record in Xero.
Flags any discrepancies or changes for review.
Optionally requires administrator approval before publishing the invoice to Xero.

    Benefits:

Reduces exposure to invoice redirection and payment fraud.
Provides an additional layer of supplier verification.
Improves internal controls and audit compliance.
Reduces manual checking of supplier banking information

extraction of bank & contact details would ensure that if suppliers change these then RB picks it up to ensure they're correctly paid, ability to update adn chnage bank details in the supplier form so it syns to the ERP would be great and less time consuming

It would be good to be able to link employees to their corporate credit card so they can easy view what items are missing/ receipts required, this feature would also work well for managers to oversee standard users and their outstanding transactions requiring receipts.

It would be really helpful if when a new Supplier is added via Dext, if Dext could also pick up other details for the Suppliers - such as payment bank details, contact email address - or at least provide the option to enter these when approving the new Supplier addition

dext needs to have the function if the bank details or other information differs from the contact information held. this needs to flagged to be reviewed.

the tax extraction or the tax rate allocated and category as per supplier rules or set up should generate to the extraction line item.
It's easier to go and change the one that needs manual adjusting than the 20 items doesnt require any chnages
