    When there are duplicates - give a choice as to which one is processed - sometimes the bad copy comes up as the original and it is not possible to process the good copy

  3. Make supplier rules and option changes affect items already uploaded or in the 'Ready' section, not just for new uploads.

    It becomes quite annoying when you only realise some settings need to be changed after documents have been uploaded, only for those updated settings to not affect the items already in the inbox.

    Auto-Categorisation forces items into the 'Ready' section without all the information needed, and then when a supplier rule is set, it wont affect the items already put through, despite the 'apply to all items in inbox' option being ticked

  7. This is in regards to receipt of payment towards an invoice.
    When I accepted the receipt from my client in Dext as a sale it created a new Invoice in QBO.
    I set up automatic invoices within QBO in order to track monthly rent due.

    Is there a way for Dext to put the rent receipt directly to the open invoice? It doesn't have to 'pay' the invoice. I sometimes get the receipts sent in before the amount is actually paid/deposited to the account.

  8. The problem is a quick way of filtering down the list to navigate your way to all supplies that begin with a particular letter. For example H you have to scroll on every occasion an amendment is made, if you are updating the information on DEXT as the systems returns you back to A each time. This is tedious.

  11. While in the submission history, or at the input level, it would be helpful, if you could put notes or a reason. For example, I deleted transaction No.9xxxx because it was a duplicate of 9xxxx.

  12. Add a quantity box for the products / services box on the items details page - otherwise it's manual for partner to then add line items to determine the quantity of the product of the invoices

  13. In the Costs > Inbox, when a match is found, a screen pops up to give details. The details are also included when you open the receipt. The issue is, it doesn't tell you which credit card it is. If you have a client with 10 credit cards, and the match says 'TD BUSINESS TRAVEL VISA' how does this help me? The data is probably being pulled from the bank, but there should be a way to add 4 digits to it somewhere, or at least the cardholder name.

  15. Is there a way to tag clients in Dext Prepare - similarly to how you can in Precision? What I’m hoping for is to be able to tag or filter clients for who we do the bookkeeping for vs who do their own bookkeeping

  16. Make the "supplier duplicates" function catch "Last Name, First Name" vs. "First Name Last Name" duplicates. Eg. "Smith, John" exists as a supplier in the accounting software, but Dext imports a duplicate "John Smith", and the Supplier duplicate function doesn't catch it, so they have to be tracked down and manually merged.

  17. Would it be possible to get the AI to scan and recall product codes so that they can be matched to categories. As a plumbing business we buy lots of taps and cylinders, if product codes were mapped on each line item would could break our sales down to a more granular level.
