  1. If a receipt has a date that differs from the date of the payment on the bank feed, you should take the date of the payment on the bank feed for the created payment. For example if a invoice from 2nd May matches a payment on the 3rd May and you autofill and push the transaction over to Xero, the invoice created should take the date of the 2nd May but the payment should take the date of 3rd May.

    This is the best practice.

Receipt Bank will pick up if an item is paid by cash, as shown by the column within the Inbox, however it won't use this to apply a payment method with the Ref 'Cash', or similarly one with the Ref 'PayPal'. Can you please modify this so that these payment methods will be automatically applied on these items. This will save me a lot of time going in and manually updating every single one of these items

  7. I'd like to be able to autopublish all except for items uploaded by one particular user as all of their items will need to be added to Expense Reports.

    Another alternative would be to prioritize adding items to Effortless Expense Reports to happen before the act of autopublishing.

  13. Currently when items are sent to an invalid (non-existent) @receiptbank.me email address they'll go nowhere and there's no notification of this. Being able to return these to the sender would ensure that the items are then re-sent on to a correct email and properly received into a Receipt Bank account

    We have added the ability to pick and choose which columns you would like to see on the expense reports page.


    Once you are in an expense report, select the cog above the transactions and you will be able to select tracking or project categories.


    We are also looking at implementing this for downloadable reports soon, and will add the 'Customer' field soon as well.

  15. I would like to be able to move incorrectly uploaded items from one user to another within an account or within different ones. This is particularly key for my clients with multiple entities

  17. All email notifications are sent out based on GMT which means in some time zones clients get those in the middle of the night which is not convenient. Can you please adjust the way they're sent to be based on time zones

  18. The conversion rates usually result in items not matching the total of the outgoing transaction in the Xero bank feed. This means that they can’t autopublish items from foreign suppliers and have to go into Xero and manually review & adjust the totals.

    Similar to ‘Find & Match’, in foreign currency items search the bank account for items that match everything but total, and whose total is within a certain range of error, and suggest the total in Xero as an amount to change the item total to.

  19. In both the item view & edit line items tool could you please enable "Tab" from a field with a drop down. The current method requires me to arrow down to select the choice then to "enter" to lock it in and move to the next field. I expect to be able to Tab to lock in the selection and move to the next field. Also a way to pre fill a partially typed choice (say I type "oth" and the only found category is "Other" ... I'd like to see that one in my field selector and then only…
