Sticky Notes
I would like the ability to add a ‘sticky note’ to the image in Dext to provide more background info that someone searching the document might need after the fact. I don’t care if it’s visible in Sage or QBO, but its sometimes nice to draw attention to a change or a formula error or adding error on something submitted by staff so that whomever is approving the invoices gets the full picture....description field is not visible when I export a pdf list to my CEO to show what’s being paid on a particular pay period so that doesn’t help…

More options to notify users
I would like to be able to notify users that their info is incomplete when I’m working in Dext. I would like more ways to indicate follow-up on the main inbox screen....there is only one flag - I’d like to have a visible note field below it or beside it to say what’s missing or what’s needed
Backups to OneDrive or wherever should include the category code/project/etc - if not, we’re just backing up an image of the receipt/invoice which is not very helpful if you are looking something up years later or if you ever discontinue using Dext.2 votes -
Extract Sales payments- Export to exact Sage Account
Extract payments from bank statement.
Allow them to be coded up manually with say Account no. Then export each coded transaction to the relevant account in Sage as a SA. This then allows user to match SA against invoices in Sage2 votes -
Rules for multiple tax rates for a single item
If an invoice has both zero-rated and 20% VAT it won't pick that up.

Dismiss "Queued for Processing" prompts in the Web App.
I'm using Dext (previously Receipt Bank) and every time I process a receipt I get a message up on the bottom left of the screen which tells me it's queued for processing. Is there a setting so I can remove this message constantly flagging up on my screen? It becomes irritating and distracting when you're processing 20-30 transactions

Amend Client Settings in Bulk/Pre-set Client Accounts
We want to be able to change all of our clients settings in bulk, for example, the "Show net amount" one. We also need to be able to pre-set this to be ON as default for new clients.

Restrict colleague users from publishing within the client accounts
Have the option to restrict a colleague user from publishing items to the accounting software when they view the items within a client account. They should only be able to edit them without the option to publish.

QuickBooks – do not show projects marked 'completed'
When I have an expense, I do not want the system to give me the option to post to a project that was marked 'completed' in quickbooks.
Example: I did a project named Anderson 2 years ago. Now I have a new 'Anderson' job, and Dext is still allowing me to post the the Anderson job that was completed 2 years ago.
Solution: Only show 'In Progress' projects.2 votes -

Link Payment Methods to Categories
It would be great if there's a way to allocate a payment method to a category. For example, all costs with category X are paid in cash and therefore I would like to make it so anything with that category is paid to the cash account.

Bank Match to identify transactions that are closest to the amount on the invoice as a match, as some suppliers charge a transaction fee.
For Bank Match to be able to determine transactions that are closest to the amount indicated in the item for invoices as a match too. Because some suppliers charge a transaction fee hence, the amount in the invoice versus the credit card transaction usually do not match. There are hundreds of transactions that need to be updated manually to match them.
